ADDICTION COUNSELING

Each week each man has a group counseling session and an individual session, one on one, to talk about their direct situation. How does addiction happen?

Holding Hands Up High

ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is an international fellowship requiring no membership dues or fees dedicated to helping alcoholics peer to peer in sobriety through its spiritually inclined Twelve Steps program.Non-professional, non-denominational, self-supporting and apolitical, and avowed desire to stop drinking is its sole requirement for membership.

TEEN CHALLENGE

Teen challenge believes that ALL PEOPLE can be FREED FROM LIFE-CONTROLLING ISSUES THROUGH THE POWER OF JESUS CHRIST!
The biggest difference between Adult & Teen Challenge and a traditional recovery center is the focus on Christ. The programs depend on the power of the Holy Spirit and God’s word to provide our students with a guiding light. Treatment is important, but transformation is key
Through our Bible-based curriculum, students learn how to apply God’s Word to their lives. They also learn to recognize the Holy Spirit’s work in their lives, invite God to help them overcome their life-controlling problems, and become more like Christ.

SO MANY QUESTIONS

Let’s Try to Answer Some of Your Questions

HOW LONG IS THE PROGRAM?

The program is for six months and if a person qualifies they could be offered a position as a trustee to stay and help others. It takes a long time for the body to heal, and for the mind to reset. And God works on HIs own timetable.

WHAT DOES IT COSTS?

Each resident pays $800 per month, usually being supported by someone. This only covers part of the total costs, the other coming from supporters. The actual total costs is closer to $2500 a month.

DOES THIS PROGRAM REALLY WORK?

This is not a perfect program, there are not perfect programs. Some men have totally change their lives and have stayed sober since the day they left the farm. But, everyone comes to realize the reality of their addiction, and each has to decide if they really want to change. And the aftercare is critical.
